Birmingham-based baritone Jacob Banks leaves it all on the line on his latest self-produced cut, "Monster", taken from his new EP, Paradox. The track snatches you by the neck with its opening chants, and Bank's sheer conviction keeps you engaged and makes you a believer by its end. If there's one thing we've come to learn after hearing the British vocalist's offerings, it's that he's a fiercely determined artist and that determination is painted on every musical canvas he appears on, and his statement on "Monster" below says it all: "One of the things I’ve learnt is that as much as I don’t like it, sometimes you have to become a monster to get what you want and I may well have to become the miracle I’m searching for." Don't be surprised if some big names start picking up on this powerful talent in the future, as he's shown that he can provide one killer hook on top of his already-spectacular vocal skill.
