Jack Garratt entered onto the scene as a noteworthy upstart with a couple interesting songs to his name, but then he dropped "The Love You're Given", and even his hit debut, "Worry" started to pale in comparison to what was clearly becoming the work of a pop music genius. Jack's most recent EP, Synesthesiac, expounded on this rapid ascension of skill and finesse, but it looks like he's not about to rest on those laurels anytime soon. Already, he's got a new track, and this one is even more impressive yet. Jack's feat here we thought would be near impossible to pull off considering he's still relatively new to the up-and-comers all-star team, but it would seem that he's got a bottomless pit of inspiration to draw from, and the hits just keep coming. This time, his song structure is a bit more conventional, but Jack's signature quirks are still alive and kicking, and "Weathered" is all the better for it. Mark our words, this single is going to be huge. "Weathered" will hit iTunes on July 6.
