The way we experience music is constantly changing, and today, Brooklyn-based artist Jonathan Dagan (J.Views) has provided us with a new way to indulge in his sonic mastery. His newest brainchild is called The DNA Project, and it provides an interactive audio-visual timeline displaying a song's gradual creation, and eventually, the "DNA" of an entire album. Today, he dropped off a brand-new offering entitled "#Almostforgot", and regardless of the accompanying web experience, the song is simply an excellent one. At first, the track begins as an airy, downtempo work of electronic that unhurriedly incorporates unique percussion and smooth synths. However, a little over a minute and a half into the track, a whirlwind of dazzling synths storms onto the scene and brings a mind-boggling, invigorating twist. Though Dagan contributes his own vocals to the song, he recruits Kelli Scarr to do so as well, and their collective efforts result in a passionate new element to add to the spectacular instrumental.
