Jai Paul continues to pave the way for many artists that wish to experiment and express freely their sound, and today, we’ve UK-based talent J Tropic paying a little reverence to “Jasmine” with quite an incredible rendition of his own. The Brighton resident first impressed us with his debut release, "Love Up", and has since only shown growth as an all-round talent with every track. We’re inclined to give a long and hard look to any artist trying to tinker with Paul’s work, but J Tropic proves to be an exception here, as he plucks core elements from the original and puts them in with his signature sun-drenched style. The covered vocals, too, possess a groove-filled tone, and they help make this one pretty spectacular overall.
