It's always tough to see producers dip out of relevance as their works start appearing less frequently; it's never known if it's just a break that they're taking , an undertaking of massive proportions they've assumed that requires minimal chatter, or a resignation of their commitment to their craft altogether. With Houston producer j.Faraday, we've been straddling our assumptions between the three scenarios, never knowing when he's going to strike again with one of his brief, but brilliant instrumental offerings. Just recently, though, he came alive with "Light Me Up", a relatively long work of his that has appeared after a month-long absence from any other artistic material, and we're enamored with the triumphant synths and harmonizing vocal loops that pitch perfectly with the upbeat attitude of the track. Here's hoping there's more matieral to follow quickly behind...
