Like Pavlov's dogs, we've learned very quickly that when we see the name "IYES" on a track, sweet synths and electronic-pop vibes are soon to follow. And, as we've seen time and time again with their bold efforts that have trickled out since last year, the Brighton-based duo is one of the genre's best in terms of up-and-comer sound within it. Today, we find the duo unveiling a surprise in the form of a new demo entitled "Toys" that sees the intermixing of elastic and arpeggiating synths, each of which are absorbed into the vocals of Josh Christopher and Melis Soyaslanová. And though the duo is calling the effort a "demo", the end result sounds nothing of the sort, rather, an album-worthy piece we hope will appear on a future body of work.
