With six albums set to drop in 2014, Top Dawg Entertainment kicks the year off right with the debut release from TDE's newest signee, Isaiah Rashad. Cilvia Demo, the title of the work, starts off strong with introductory track, "Hereditary", setting the tone for the rest of the EP. The mellow, piano-based production throughout lays the perfect stage for Rashad to deliver seamless bars and catchy melodies. The entire project is sprinkled with features from fellow TDE members such as ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, and newcomer, SZA. Although there are no features from the camps very own Grammy-nominated MC, Kendrick Lamar, Isaiah's flow and inflections throughout the latter half of the album sound very similar to the style K.Dot has been championing for the past year. The potential for Isaiah is huge, and this project is a good indication of what we can expect from him in the coming year. If you plan on kicking back, lighting one up, and listening to the tales of women, sex, buying weed, rolling weed, and smoking weed, Cilvia Demo is your new go-to affair.
