Iris Temple is the combined work of Chicagoan producer-vocalist Quinlan Cochran and rapper Aura, and, over the course of the past year, the two have been filling in their debut EP, Duality, with a diverse set of tracks. Today, they've released the project as a whole, and, from it, we've been spinning "Smoke" nonstop. What begins as plucking electronic blooms into a deep, booming cut that has an almost soulful feel at its head. With the numerous genres present on Duality, too, we must say that what they've brewed here in "Smoke" stands just a step ahead of the rest. With the experience these two have accrued, the track comes as no surprise, and with the genre-traversing mentality these guys have as well, we'll be on the lookout for more from to them to make its way over here.
