Innoko, a new five-piece indie-folk band from Newark, Delaware, won't be supplying you with the most trendy or upbeat music before the weekend, but what they will be doing is giving you a much-needed listen for necessary moments of relaxation. The band just released their debut album, Honest Places, and from the looks of it, there was no real plan behind it other than letting the music speak for itself. Thankfully, with this seven-track body of work, the music indeed holds up, and with the likes of "Birds Fly", "Still Glowing", and "Into The Wild", fans of the indie-folk genre are going to appreciate the sounds this act has to offer. If you want to hear the rest of Honest Places or scoop it for free, head on over to Bandcamp. Our highlights from the body of work are below.
