We've posted about Washington, D.C., producer Imagined Herbal Flows before, but that was regarding a remix, and though we love ourselves some interpretive work (when done right, of course), we always really love when a producer spreads his or her artistic wings exclusively and shows what he or she's all about. It's much harder to catch and hold interest when that's the mode of attack, but when successfully executed, the rewards are limitless. We think that's what Ben Gorvine (IHF) is figuring out now. With our featured track of his here, "Clouds", we've a brilliantly downtempo and undeniably vibey piece of electronic that works especially well with the night, but we don't think it'd be a stretch to say it'd play nice in the daylight, too. The effort appears to be a bonus track from his yesterday-released Floating EP, and after checking up on all the other, accompanying pieces, we can vouch for the quality of the project as a whole.
