I have a soft spot for the so-called bedroom producers. There is something special about the DIY story that makes you look at every decision you've made in your life to date and wonder, "What if?". Vancouver local Luke Hartle (iamforest) doesn't have to wonder as he is currently living this dream. He grew up writing and playing music, and now, with the added benefit of studying audio engineering, has spent his time since writing, producing and engineering blissful electronica such as the featured track "Armies and Air Raids". Coming from an EP of the same name, the effort provides a euphoric trip of itchy percussion, dreamy synths, and a wonderfully anamorphic vocal track akin to Koda, another DIY favourite of ours.
