With support slots for touring bands and a month-long residency at their local haunt, young Australian band, I Know The Chief, were the little known secret of their hometown of Melbourne, Australia. Well, the secret is no longer as the quintet release their blistering new jam "Stay Coloured". The single possesses a sound akin to Two Door Cinema Club and San Cisco, yet retains enough original flair to remain distinctive. The track of theirs is a tropical frolic through an exotic disco-jungle, imagery which is echoed in their decorative stage presence. And while it remains to be seen if they achieve their goal to "move the needle" on the Australian music culture, they are definitely on the right track.
