Since his debut track, "Expectations", that we picked up about a year ago, came out, UK R&B expert HUNTAR has proven to build his reputation as another mystical yet utterly haunting artist that we had to shout out loud about right away. If there is a transformation happening in the way of the R&B, we think HUNTAR is right in the middle of it with his constant blending and bleeding of genres and electronic and soul-crushing R&B that you feel in your organs. Place HUNTAR right there with artists and acts like HONNE, Shy Girls, and Aquilo, and don't be surprised if he ever overtakes them in appeal and popularity in the times ahead. Truth be told, we've enjoyed HUNTAR's work to the point where we've covered nearly all of his tracks on the site, but, even with that, we think that this new one of his here takes the cake. When we listen to different pieces, we seek out not just production that gets into your pours and seeps into your bloodstream, but vocals that you can’t help but get a little drunk on as well, and that's what HUNTAR’s latest piece here does for us. Where his previous tracks had a darker, melancholic edge, this one feels like he’s beckoning us to get lost on some backstreet of London in the after-hours where every touch is purposeful.
