Right now, there's an exciting wave of artists with totally spotless records. They continue to drop excellent single after excellent single, showing more and more promise with each release, and they've yet to disappoint once in the entire process. HUNTAR, a 21-year-old producer and singer from the UK, is one of the most exciting members of this movement, and there hasn't been a blemish yet in his slower, emotive blend of electronic-R&B. Rather than sit idle with the accolade, though, he's elected to keep the artistic ball rolling with a new offering, "Bitter", along with news of a new EP. The new track fantastically depicts HUNTAR's style—one that typically embraces a somewhat minimalistic approach. Some smooth piano chords and occasional snaps constitute the essence of the instrumental on the track, but additional synths and percussion build atop it throughout the piece. The work isn't necessarily cheery, by any means; rather, HUNTAR executes wonderfully a tranquil, comforting ballad that's ideal for your case of the Monday blues.
