Housemate's "Always Here For You" has proven to be quite the catch with producers looking to inject their own efforts into the kind of indie-electronic the singer-producer so spectacularly sculpted with the original. Goon Bags, an interestingly named, and even more interestingly sounding production duo, supplemented the track with high-octane additions on their remix, and today, we see a second, albeit very different, interpretation of Housemate's popular offering. Birds is the name of the new face in the mix (he's only got eight followers on SoundCloud), and his remix, as alluded to above, differs markedly than that of the Goon Bags' own. Bass still plays as prominent a role as it did on the first remix, but instead of blasting into your ears, it kind of just flows through. There's a heavy emphasis placed on pulsating synths, and a decidedly little amount of vocals carried over from the original, but all the decisions birds made seem to work wonderfully to initiate an enveloping soundscape that pushes the upper-boundaries of electronic chillwave.
