House Of Spirituals is a new band from the UK signed to label Shutter Records, and, earlier this month, they released their debut single, "Too Many Days", to criminally light fanfare. Currently, the track sits just north of 4,000 plays, but that's sure to change once more people become aware of what sound these guys have. Though relatively linear throughout, "Too Many Days" makes do perfectly with what sterling characteristics it has in its wares. Its chorus is short but strong; the singer's voice is wide-ranging and pleasurable at its peak; and the instrumental quirks that appear are well-thought-out and flavorful in the context of the track. It came about as a "stirring" gasp of hope, the piece did, and its upbeat, inspirational nature speaks to the psychological (and artistic) surmounting the group achieved.
