Like so many other Australian producers, Hounded (Edan Visser) possesses all the talent needed to make a name for himself in the crowded field he resides in. And at the humble age of nineteen, Visser makes his first appearance on HD with "Us", a standout track from his Hearts EP. Smooth synths, mellow drums, and electronic material all appear on the effort, and are all excellently composed by Visser. Adele's soulful, distant vocals also make a euphonic appearance in the middle of the piece, though, if you've got sharp ears, you can hear them muffled faintly in the background of the song's beginning. And while Visser's production doesn't consist of an influx of electronic layers like offered from many of his Aussie brethren, it's stripped down, with an authentic feel that makes it especially enjoyable.
