When you're as good as Horrorshow is, you can afford to share leftover material that didn't make the cut for an album. As it turns out, "Out For The Night" was written during the Inside Story-era (2009), but was never actually recorded (that is, until a week ago, when Adit and Solo finally recorded the once-buried gem, giving it its own lease on life as a stand-alone effort). Album leftovers from most acts are usually forgettable, but with "Out For The Night", we find the song to be worth more than just one spin. Over a refined, soul sample-led beat, Adit employs classical-sounding piano keys, hip-hop drums, and a guitar with a nice delay on it. And, naturally, Solo carries the rest of the track with his timeless, storytelling raps. Give it all a listen below.
