With previously released tracks "Dreamers" and "Cut" on the resume of Hopium, anyone with a pair of working ears can hear that this duo is doing big things. Today, we've their brand-new, M-Phazes co-produced single and video, "Right Now", that—although it sounds little like its predecessors—is still giving us more than enough reason to peg them as ones to continue to watch. Where most pop songs center around a certain energy moving from a point of calm to calamity, "Right Now" stands distinct. In fact, it's pretty even-keeled from beginning to end. The track will suck you in with its production, and specifically, its main synth line that sounds like it could be used in a rap anthem, its distorted 808 kicks, reverb-laced vocals, and, at its outro, Kanye West-like auto-tuned parts.
