Deciding to quit his job at Google was the one of the best decisions Hoodie Allen could of ever made because with his newest project, Leap Year, it's amazingly clear that Hoodie deserves to live off of his music. Leap Year is a big leap of improvement from his last project, Pep Rally. His songwriting has gotten more personal and introspective, it is a reflection of an honest human who is very good at rapping. Hoodie says he wanted Leap Year to reflect his life + experiences and that is exactly what he has done. While Leap Year will reflect his personal life, it will now begin to take on a life of its own amongst fans as they will no doubt be enjoying the incredible music found on Leap Year and experiencing it in their own personal way.
