In the world of electronic-soul, there's a fantastic abundance of upcoming acts with great promise, and one of the most significant is certainly UK-based duo HONNE. Although they've only released two EPs thus far (each EP has contained only two original songs), the quality of their work has been consistently outstanding. Today, the duo is maintaining their relevancy with a more pop-oriented, still excellent new track called "Coastal Love". Tropical synths and upbeat percussion constitute the musical foundation of the new piece, and as a result, HONNE strays a bit from their previously slow-paced sound. They especially branch out in the chorus—one emitting some throwback disco-pop vibes—but still, the two manage to maintain their distinct style through the lead vocalist's seductive vocals and the smooth soundscapes that are attached. HONNE has impressed us with each one of their releases in their career, and we have no reason whatsoever to believe that they'll stop doing that any time soon.
