In indie-rock right now, there's no one as unrightfully ignored as Hollow & Akimbo right now. With a string of single releases and one EP leading up to their debut (that's out today), Hollow & Akimbo have been dropping the kind of music that puts them up there with some of the genre's best. And even though the world may not know it yet, it will only be a matter of time until that's the overarching understanding, because the crossover appeal of tracks like "The One Who Has to Carry You Home" is tremendous. A lot of the times, indie-rock is non-coherent for the music fan casually looking in. With tracks like the aforementioned one, they hook you in with memorable choruses and huge build-ups. And while this provides only another small taste of the album, we're sure there is more greatness to be had once you hear the rest of their debut full-length, so head on over to iTunes and make the purchase ASAP.
