The Memphis two-piece, comprised of Idi Aah Que and Teco Tate, has been writing together for many years now, and, although they have only seen local recognition, they are proving to be one of the most underrated acts in the genre on newest LP Worthy NeGrow, which we've featured here. Inspired by the likes of Outkast and A Tribe Called Quest, Hippy SOUL infuses an old-school vibe to lots of their music, though they prove to be current as anyone on songs like "My Dojo".
