It was just a few days ago that we saw the exposure of the first track from Hilltop Hoods' new album with "The Art of the Handshake", but it wasn't the official lead single the Maverick Sabre-assisted "Won't Let You Down" is, and now that you're hearing it for the first time, it's easy to understand why they selected it to champion Walking Under The Stars. Where "The Art of the Handshake" took the more raw, hip-hop-oriented path, this lead-off effort takes the more anthemic, feel-good approach that features the beckoning vocals of UK-based singer-songwriter Maverick Sabre who rides atop the string-laden, piano-sprinkled production with esteemed grace. Of course, Suffa and Pressure (being the main attractions here) pull everything together with their anthemic raps and famed accents, as the end result is quite remarkable. Sometimes, towards the end of artists' careers, we find them releasing uninspired music just to please fans or make money, but with Hilltop Hoods, we don't have to worry about that, because with what we've already heard from Walking Under The Stars, there's no doubt it's going to be another body of work that's going to stand the test of time.
