Highasakite isn't receiving any exorbitant amount of buzz online from their sophomore album, Silent Treatment, that come out last week, whether because of the genre it touches, or because people are still sleeping on the Norwegian band, but we're hoping with a listen to the album-highlight, "Hiroshima", that we can convince you to check them out, because, as explained here, Highasakite makes some truly majestic music. Rarely do we hear such a prestige within music that's prompts us to comment on it as such in the above paragraph, so pay attention. When you're listening to Highasakite, you can literally feel the Norwegian air hitting your lungs as you envision yourself perched up on a mountain overlooking their breathtaking fjords. Don't get us wrong, the rest of Silent Treatment is a great listen, but "Hiroshima" is on another level. From the unique timbre & cadence of lead vocalist, Ingrid Helene Håvik, to her quirky-yet-clever songwriting over the momentum-building energy of the arrangements here, this song leaves you completely mesmerized.
