A few months ago we shared an introduction post on HIGH HØØPS in the hopes that the rest of the blogosphere would catch on to his music (it's really impossible not to love). As it would play out, this never happened outside of our pages, so we're thinking & hoping his new track, "Magic Rain", is going to do the trick. With an ethereality unmatched on "Magic Rain", HIGH HØØPS floats his vocals atop filter sweeps, thumping kicks & verb-heavy horns, giving you the illusion that you're literally floating in the clouds. It's safe to say you've never heard a track like "Magic Rain" or an artist as creative as HIGH HØØPS, before, so get to know this guy ASAP, because big things are coming for the young New Zealander.
