Not only is this GANZ flip of Flume's remix of Hermitude's "Hyperparadize" a super fun listen (and a mouthful to say), but it's also got some massive size to boot. The intro has the perfect buildup structure to get you excited, but the composition is deceptive, because while the first minute or so accrues steam like any normal EDM track might, the drop is 100% hip-hop funk. Just when you're expecting a fast-paced chord progression for the hook, GANZ slows things down a little bit, and lets the beat and bassline unwind to create a surprising amount of thump. By the time things really hit their stride, we'd be surprised if you're not already in full jam-out mode, head bobbing and all. GANZ has been busting out bass-heavy electronic music for a while now, but this latest track is on a whole new level of sophistication, and the successes it's already enjoyed in the past two days is testament to the fact that GANZ is onto something.
