Followers of hip-hop on the site should be familiar with Memphis-based healy, an artist we came across almost a year ago now. He's a brand of the sound similar to Chance The Rapper's, but not so much so that that taints him in any way (it is, of course, no bad thing to sound like one of the best rappers of this age, anyway). Today, healy's pushing his talent to further heights on new tune "SLALOM", and, like the title suggests, the piece saunters through a handful of personal, relatable themes, that happen to be meld together by PLC's delectable production beside them. Ethan (healy) takes on a more soul-based approach with his vocals here, and, quite simply, it works. "SLALOM" is healy's first single from an upcoming EP, and details about the body of work should be coming out soon.
