Even though Hazel English just released her debut EP, Never Going Home, any devoted indie-pop fan should already be very familiar with her work. Over the past year and change, she's consistently constructed authentic lo-fi sounds that few others can replicate (one of the few is Day Wave, and he unsurprisingly had a hand in her work here). Final track from the project "Make It Better" is what we're highlighting today, and it's one you absolutely cannot pass. The piece portrays an emotional struggle (and triumphing) over the perceived binary nature of life, and what breezy indie-alternative it casts ensures it's a lesson enjoyable to hear and learn.
