The electronic world these days is a lot of like the needle in the haystack allegory. If you're a producer trying to stick out from the crowd by copying everyone else, either by way of using stock sounds or simply not pushing your comfort zone enough; you're going to be disappointed to find out that it takes much more than that to have people remember who you are. To succeed, you really need to develop your own unique sound, and this needs to be perceived from the average listener's perspective, because not everyone is going to notice your different modulator patching or how long your decay reverb was on that snare, for example. And so when your ears come across a talented producer like Hayden James, your first reaction isn't, 'oh this sounds like so and so', but rather, a combination of 'woah' and 'what is this?' We're not sure if we can pin any exact style on Hayden, but we can assure you that it's more of a feeling induced overall, a warm, fuzzy engulfing feeling that is hijacked by his constant stream of unfamiliarity. We've already been introduced to "Permission To Love' & "Lay Down" and now you can digest the rest of this EP in full.
