Having already carved out his own ilk of vocal-led electronic, Harry Edwards continues to draw us to his ineffable sound, as his latest piece, “How Is It Full”, gives us no reason not to want to explore it. Coming off of two instantly perforating tracks ("How I Learnt To Love The Blonde" and "Winter No. 3"), Harry ascends to a more assertive, mesmerizing approach on the new piece here. What we’ve pointed out more than once already about Harry is the great progression of his work, and he continues to sound better here employing haunting chord progressions and quavering croons to kick off the piece. As the vocals build in tandem with the piercing, long-drawn synths, the UK artist utilizes altering drum patterns that eventually burst into a drop with a potpourri of futuristic inclusions. Pitch-shifting vocals, piercing saw waves, and break drums are some of the many inclusions we speak of, and Edwards does what he needs to atop them all, breaking so-called sonic barriers effortlessly in the process.
