We come across plenty of strange songs when we scavenge the web for sonic jewels, and a fair amount of the time, they end up being little more than experimental wrecks rather than works of art. However, there are some unrecognized acts that can both plunge deep into their own creativity, and produce completely euphoric work, and there's no better example of this type of artist than Harry Edwards. The UK-born musician has composed a multitude of ambient, orchestral pieces, but he's recently been exploring the realm of electronic production, and there's no doubt that it's definitely a good fit for him. His track, "Lesser", stupefies the listener with a dazzling display of synths, some heavy bass hits, and Harry's own alluring falsetto, but the real brilliance lies in the song's deviant structure. While "Lesser" is a pretty strong electronic showing, some may prefer the mellower sounds of Harry's downtempo, peculiarly titled ballad, "Logs Are People Too". Harry introduces the track with sparse percussion, some warm piano chords, and his absolutely stunning vocals, and a little over a minute into the track, the piano is stripped from the lineup and replaced by some floor-shaking bass and pitch-shifted vocals. The remainder of the effort sees plenty of strange nuances and unique noises, but it eventually bursts into a segment of synth-fueled ecstasy. We're totally blown away by Harry's work here, and while we only dissected two of his tracks above, we've included a few more for you below to take a listen to. Before you do listen, though, make sure you grab your finest pair of headphones and mentally prepare yourself to hear something totally unique and extraordinarily beautiful, because that's the type of sound Harry's here to share.
