Sure you can make an argument that what some producers do these days to samples is pretty basic. But for us, we could care less, because if the end result sounds great, then GOOD. Taking the 1974 hit "Nothing You Can Do" from the Average White Band and chopping it up into something completely new is definitely a welcomed addition to our ears right now. Toss this song in your playlist somewhere, don't tell anyone about it and let it flow perfectly at a BBQ and you will have everyone slow grooving along to this.
