Harris Mac is a Brooklyn musician carving his own path with the methodologies of creating his art. Having recently been the (fortunate) recipient of a successfully funded Kickstarter campaign, Harris has since spent his time making good on the promise of new material to release to his backers and the rest of the world alike. Our first taste of the upcoming release comes to us today in the form of “Miss U”, an impressive and thoroughly intriguing exploration of an unrequited love. The lyrics, when read aloud, could conceivably be pulled from any conventional pop song, and yet, Harris flips the script, supplanting the catchy riffs with a dark, modulated drone of vocal harmonies. It's all equally poignant and impressive, having us anticipating already what follow-up works Harris Mac has.
