When a band like HAERTS gets the remix treatment from an act such as Avec Sans, you know it’s going to result in a winning sound. Both of these groups have a great sonic aesthetic, and when you combine the two together, it’s almost a given you’re going to get something cool to add to your any of your favorite playlists. In this particular instance, were given a new take on “Hemiplegia”, a single that, while no slouch, has been brightened to the point of undeniable allure. To be sure, there’s something unmistakably ’80s-esque about this one, though, not the type of cringe-worthy, parachute-pants-wearing pop that lacks any sort of real substance.
