Hopefully you caught our post back in April on the Quebecois band, Groenland, and their fantastic debut album, The Chase, because we have a sneaking suspicion that it may of flew under the radar. When we originally heard this album it was immediately apparent and a no brainer that we needed to work with them. If you're still not up to snuff on this band, now's your chance because for the first time they will be heading out West for dates with us in Calgary & Vancouver this September. If we had it our way, their absolutely adorable track, "Criminals" would be all over the radio by now. It has the appeal of modern indie-pop that can reel in the youngsters, while the folk influences rope in the older generation. We think this is a great combination that is going to transfer over very will to the stage. Add in the strikingly beautiful vocals of lead singer, Sabrina Halde and the incorporation of a whole bunch of live instrumentation (keys, melodica, drums, violin, cello, bass) and you got yourself a band with universal appeal.
