It's been a considerable amount of time since we've posted any of GRiZ's work, and, while we've no particular reason for the long wait, the Detroit talent's latest track, "Feelin' High", should give you an idea of the immense maturation of his sound over the years. The sax-led instrumental is one paying tribute to Reflection Eternal's "2000 Seasons", and, alongside some assistance from Eric Bloom on the trumpet, the entire piece is one we hear encircled with a delicious, brass-infused tone. GRiZ's drum work shines as he uses well-rounded hip-hop kick-snare sequences, and, in tandem with the aforementioned instruments being played, we're given a suave and ultra-sultry environment for our ears to thoroughly enjoy.
