Cover songs don't always hit the mark, and, ordinarily, they feel like attempts just to remain relevant that end up falling flat. Recently, the string of "Hotline Bling" covers went overkill and proved this fact, but, thankfully, Grace Mitchell is not about that life, because her cover of Post Malone's "White Iverson" is not contrived, exploitative, or disappointing-sounding at all. We never really took to the original track, but this version that Grace has given us is giving us the best reason yet to check into what it's all about.
