Grace Mitchell is a Portland raised singer-songwriter you probably know of from her radio plays and endless appearances on "Top New Artists" lists. Luckily for her, there is merit to this infatuation, because she continues to produce material like her recent Raceday EP that's quality through and through. That particular release, as a whole, has proven to be a taut collective of captivating pop, and today, we're shining the light on track "Bae" from it as we're premiering its music video. It can sometimes be difficult to pull off a lyric video without it seeming bland or unimaginative, but the strong visual direction of "Bae" here assures engagement throughout. The images of a sped-up, chopped-up, gray scale night drive act as a tonal accompaniment to the deep throbbing synth notes of the single, and they certainly accentuate the silky deliveries from Mitchell and French-speaking artist S.Pri Noir as well. Grace's Raceday EP is available on iTunes now, and you can watch the video for "Bae" below.
