There are some that like to come out of the gate and take the well-traveled and safe route, and there are others who like to boldly forge their own path. Taking the later course of musical direction is the Detroit-based musical project, GOSH PITH, who are debuting with the genre-bending affair that is "Waves". By merging booming bass, jittering production, and rock guitars with R&B-leaning vocal tones, GOSH PITH takes the listener into the kind of uncharted genre territories that the band's decidedly labeling "cosmic trap" and "high-pop". Whatever genre you wish to toss their way, though, is irrelevant, because "Waves" puts this trio into a league of their own. [via EARMILK]
