It's been three months since this beautifully downtempo ballad was released, but we're just coming across it today, and that's reason enough to justify a post for all you guys and girls out there fiending for a slow-burner in the genre. As you can see, the NYC producer, goodnightmares, recruits the heavenly tone of MCKZ (mothica) on the spiraling emotional affair, and, after the first note, it's obvious that he made an excellent decision to have her on the track. Her soft, controlled croons and pining lyricism really resonate with anyone who's ever been in, or felt like they've been close to, love, and the relatability makes it tough to turn away from the effort even after it's seen its duration expire. Keep some tissues nearby if you're feeling heavy-hearted, but make sure to muster enough energy to enjoy the delicate sonic atmosphere as well, as it's an attractive one.
