Goldwash has achieved the rare feat of having every single track of his posted on the site (he's four released with this new one here), and, though each has portrayed a distinct vibe, his body of work as a whole has managed to keep a similar one that has easily impressed. It's funky, poppy, soulful, and slick, and the fact that it traverses as many genres as it does is going to bode well for him as he continues to tap into audiences of each. With "Separate" here, Gabe Acheson's (Goldwash) aforementioned four track, we see him at maybe his most soulful yet, but all of those traits above are of course mixed within. There's sunny electronic, a plethora of retro-sounding elements scattered within, and a beaming, sparkling chorus to tie everything up. It's worth noting how well Gabe's vocal compliments his production capabilities, too (as we've said before, most artists try and fail to be proficient at both), and that potent combination is certainly going to spell success for him whenever his debut body of work comes out.
