GoldLink is the unquestioned king of dance and funk-flavored rap, and, as he gears up to release his next full-length work, he plans to remind us once or twice why that's the case. It's been three months since last track "Dance On Me" saw the light of day, and, now, he's put together another groovy joint featuring Louie Lastic called "Movin' On". With it, the DMV rapper shows just how far his futuristic bounce sound has come, and what elastic electronic and funk-flared melodies we hear on it all but ensures that bodies will be moving when the track is being played. The work is seriously fresh stuff from the artist and his accomplice here, and yet, as just a mere taste of what we can expect from his aforementioned, looming-on-the-horizon work, we've every reason to be excited about what work has yet to reach our ears.
