When you've a last name like this guys', you're almost compelled to use it as a moniker in any artistic endeavor put forth. Canadian Michael Goldchain does so here with an immaculate-sounding number entitled "No Sleeping Now", which, fascinatingly, seems to be his debut. The Toronto-based beatmaker is virtually unknown as of now, and while this is his first effort to date, as we said above, there's already standout, innovative electronic qualities present in his sound. Employing edited chops from Ellie Goulding's "Lights", the track strolls through hefty bass-infused sounds and immersive synths and drums to bring about a mellowed affair as a whole. It's an effort electronic fans will love, and there's no telling where this guy will go with his sound from here.
