Hayao Miyazaki is known to be one of Japan’s greatest anime directors, and his work is renowned globally. Honoring his work (as we've stated before in a post) is Go Yama, who decided to construct a tribute album encompassing samples from Miyazaki’s most cherished films. (Go Yama’s support for this album is from a music community called Portals who discuss the unfortunate events building up to the release of the tribute album.) This particular release features samples from a 1989 Miyazaki film called Kiki’s Delivery Service. Scooter Oyama has definitely gone a mile further with this one, and flipped some classic samples gorgeously to give the track an ineffable feel.
