Ever since coming across GLADES a year back with "Falling Away", the Australian trio has truly impressed us with their maintained consistency over the string of various singles since. They've been in the game for some time now, and, finally, they've their debut EP out today. Entitled This Is What It's Like, the body of work includes their many acclaimed singles as well as two new tracks in "I Want You So Bad" and "Summer Air". The new tracks, with their evident electronic-pop sensibilities, fit the sonic structure of the EP quite well, so, although we're not getting a lot of new material, the sequence of the tracks evoke an amazing driving-to-the-sunset vibe. This Is What It's Like is certainly one of the stronger EPs we've heard this year, and we absolutely cannot wait to hear where the three take their phenomenal sound from here.
