girlhouse writes pop-rock with a self-awareness that keeps it from feeling formulaic. 'boundary issues' is hooky and direct, guitars up front, lyrics that land without over-explaining. There's a 2000s alt influence in the sonics but the perspective is fully current. Worth a spot in the rotation.
