With the influx of fresh talent emerging from all parts of Europe, we love to see previously overlooked bands from more obscure areas come to fruition. Indie band Gin Ga's "Remember Whatever" does it's best to hit all the right notes while capturing our interest in the process, and, leading us with an upbeat electric riff, the track builds while adding multiple components that seem to mesh so well. As the chorus drops, the ecstatic tempo of the composite shows through, and later takes a backseat to truly masterful vocals. The track continues its bliss through instrumental sections with some heavier electric slabs that are perfectly strung, and the greatest realization that comes to mind as the track starts to then fade is the joyous mood that's derived from its ethereal tone. A deeper look into the band's previous works turns up tracks like "Golden Boy", which gives us notes of parallel astonishment, and if you're a fan of the hit indie and indie-pop bands, you'll want to add this track to your playlist after the first listen, as it's the next chapter in HD's long book of tracks that deserve to be brought to the surface in the overlooked and underappreciated European musical scene.
