Regulars on the site should be familiar with Gia Koka by now, and while it hasn't been too long since the release of her debut Feux Rouges EP, she seems to be back in action already, fostering yet another emanating piece with the Maydien-assisted "FLY-BY-NIGHT". We've come to know the Amsterdam-based musician as one to generate a pristine sonic environment time and time again, and on this particular effort, she does the same. "FLY-BY-NIGHT", according to Gia, focuses on the volatile nature of relationships, and she certainly backs that up with some ardent lyricism over an evocative, hat-heavy track. Neighboring emcee Maydien impresses on his short-lived contribution to the piece as well, delivering precise lines to give the track a dynamic edge overall.
