Gia Koka has been making rounds in the industry as a featured artist on tracks by SRNO and no sleep, and each have shown off her showstopping voice (and done quite well on blogs and Spotify charts as well). Luckily for us, she's been writing and performing solo tracks, and, today, we see that that includes the smoky and subdued "Come Pick Me Up", a rendition of Ryan Adams' track of the same name. "Come Pick Me Up" is brought to life by heavy percussion and electronic adornments, but it's Gia's voice that really stands out here. She switches between husky low verses and powerful choruses—something that sets her apart from other artists making similar sounds—and, with more singles on the way, we can't wait to hear how she continues to be distinct.
